The University of Santiago de Compostela has many faculties and five university-maintained colleges. One college is located in the Lugo campus, while the rest can be found in the main Santiago campus.

Rodriguez Cadarso College

The Rodriguez Cadarso College is a residential college made up of 52 double rooms and 18 single rooms. It hosts the annual Rodriguez dinner, which is the commemoration of the college's namesake former University Chancellor Alejandro Rodriguez Cadarso. The college also has a recreation room, a library, a computer room with Internet access, and a photo lab.

Fonseca College

Fonseca College is a residential college with over 100 rooms available. It was built in 1963 and completely remodeled in 1999. The college hosts regular cultural activities for its students such as creative writing contests and excursions for photography. It has a catered dining room, kitchen, TV room, and several study rooms.

R.U. Burgos das Nacions

With nine double rooms, 408 single rooms, and nine apartments, the R.U. Burgos das Nacions is the university's largest colleges. It has a fully-equipped fitness centre, a dining hall, a music room, a TV room, and several study centres.

R. U. Monte da Condesa

The R.U. Monte da Condesa is also a large college with over 250 mostly single guest rooms. It has its own five-a-side football league that competes with other colleges. It features a rehearsal room with a piano, a dining hall, a TV room, and a library.

R.U. Bal y Gay

The R.U. Bal y Gay college is the only one located in the ancillary campus of Lugo. It hosts the annual investiture ceremony that gives recognition to the university's bands. It has 98 guest rooms, on-site parking, bike rental, and dining services.
